The two entrances to the headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) in Abuja were blocked by protesters demanding an end to police brutality.
The protesters who carried banners asking for reduction of government salary budget while chanting anti-government songs and wielding vowed to prevent activities at the nation ‘s apex bank on Monday.
It was also discovered that some of the protesters were also camping on the road by the building’s rear exit, while hundreds of protesters were in front of the building.
Music was blaring from loudspeakers on the premises as of 9:30 pm, according to the report, while some of them vowed to spend the night there.
In the event of any breakout of violence, security operatives securing the building are on standby.
