Yahoo Yahoo: A man named “Picker” was shot and killed in Delta after he refused to deliver funds after cashing out.

Gunmen suspected of being paid assassins shot and killed a yet-to-be-identified alleged Yahoo boy who served as a through man for cashing out unlawful gains (Picker) near Oruwhoru road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to PUNCH, the event occurred on Saturday evening when gunmen following the young motorist pulled the trigger from behind and shot him dead in his automobile.

“Nothing was taken from his automobile after he was killed.” The assassins didn’t even look to see whether he had anything on him. They could only affirm that he was no longer alive. One of the eyewitnesses added, “They seemed to have followed him from somewhere.”

“The young man is considered to be a Yahoo-Yahoo lad who picked money for someone and refused to deliver it to the other person.”

“After being shot, the young man drove on and hit a BEDC pole before dying immediately inside his car at Oruwhoru road by Ekete Junction before Teepee Garage,” he explained.

“Nothing was taken from his automobile after he was killed.” The assassins didn’t even look to see whether he had anything on him. They could only affirm that he was no longer alive. One of the eyewitnesses added, “They seemed to have followed him from somewhere.”

According to PUNCH, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, who confirmed the occurrence, said in a text message on Sunday, “Yes, it’s confirmed.”
