Young John has been named Apple Music’s Next Big Thing in Nigeria.

Young John

Udomboso John Saviours, better known as Young John and dubbed the “Wicked Producer” by some, has been named the most recent featured artist in Apple Music’s Up Next artist program in Nigeria.

This comes after the release of his recent hit, ‘Dada,’ which enabled the 27-year-old producer shift from a well-known music producer to a promising Afrobeat musician.

Young John made his fame in the Nigerian music business as the producer of blockbuster songs including Kizz Daniel’s “Mama,” Mayorkun’s “True,” and Olamide’s “Wo!!,” “Bobo,” “Science Student,” and many others.

The popularity of his recently released EP ‘Love Is Not Enough,’ which is claimed to be doing well on Apple Music, contributed to the naming of the Chocolate City Music signee as Nigeria’s Up Next Artist.

Young John expresses his delight at being recognized by Apple Music and promises to share more of his music with his followers in the coming days.

“Music has always been a method for me to express myself. I was only able to express myself because of my social anxiety difficulties by producing music for other singers like Olamide, Tiwa Savage, and Kizz Daniel. It’s a huge honor for me to be recognized by Apple Music’s Up Next program for the music I’m producing and distributing as an artist. I’m ecstatic and can’t wait to tell my followers even more.”
