Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, claims to be homeless and ‘rotates’ between friends’ homes.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, claims to be homeless.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder, who claims to live with friends, also claims that he spends very little of his money on tangible items and only acquired a jet to spend more time working.

Musk told TED in an interview that aired on Monday, April 18, that he owns no home, not even in Texas or near Tesla’s headquarters in San Francisco.

Instead, the billionaire, who is worth over £200 billion, chooses to stay in the bedrooms of his many pals.

“Right now, I don’t even own a property; I’m actually staying at friends’ apartments,” the 50-year-old stated. When I go to the Bay Area, where much of Tesla’s engineering is done, I basically sleep in friends’ spare rooms.”

Musk has also shunned the wealthy lifestyle, which includes a yacht and nonstop vacations.

“I don’t have a yacht, I don’t go on vacations, so my personal consumption isn’t high,” he explained. A plane is an exception, but if I don’t utilize it, I’ll have fewer hours to work.”
