Olukoyi Of Ikoyi, Osun’s Monarch, Has Passed Away

Oba Yisau Oyetunji Bamitale, the Olukoyi of Ikoyi, has died.

Oba Bamitale, whose domain is in Osun State’s Isokan Local Government Area, died on Monday after a brief illness.

The Osun State Government had yet to respond to the monarch’s death, and the palace had not officially declared the traditional ruler’s death as of the time of reporting this article.

According to sources, the palace will make the official announcement when the body gets in town.

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Olukoyi Palace grounds in Ikoyi, the traditional ruler, who ruled for 35 years, will be consigned to mother earth.
