Six worshippers are injured when a church in Badagry collapses.

Six members of the Deeper Life Bible Church, which is located in the Iragbo village of Badagry, Lagos state, were seriously injured on Sunday when the church’s building fell during a strong storm while the service was in process.
According to reports, the Church building collapsed at 9:30 a.m. due to heavy rain followed by a severe storm.
Mr Topohozin Tunde, a member of the Church who was also a casualty, informed NAN that six members of the church were seriously injured.
“I also had a bad knee injury, but thankfully no one died.”

“A severe storm slammed the church building this morning about 9:30 a.m., and before we knew what was going on, the entire church building fell.”
“Some of us were able to flee, but about six of us were seriously injured,” he explained.
According to Tunde, medical assistance was provided to them, but they were not properly treated because no medical practitioner was available at the hospital.
“Those who were critically hurt were brought to Badagry’s General Hospital for treatment.”
“Because my ailment isn’t serious,” he explained, “I opted to look after myself.”
