Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal equals Kanu’s record in Leeds United’s win.

With a brace in the first 10 minutes of Arsenal’s 2-1 Premier League triumph over Leeds United on Sunday, Eddie Nketiah equaled club legend Nwankwo Kanu’s record.

Arsenal defeated Leeds United 2-0 at Emirates Stadium over the weekend, with Nketiah scoring both goals.
According to OptaJoe, Nketiah’s brace equals Kanu’s club record, making him the second Arsenal player in Premier League history to score a brace in the first 10 minutes.

Kanu scored in the third and ninth minutes as Arsenal defeated Sunderland 3-1 at Highbury on October 6, 2002, according to WITHIN NIGERIA.

The Nigerian icon opened the score for Arsenal with a two-yard strike.

The two-time Premier League winner then increased his lead by heading in an Ashley Cole assist.

Meanwhile, Nketiah will be hoping to keep his great form going for Arsenal when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Arsenal is currently in fourth place in the Premier League rankings, four points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
